Glen Walford - Artistic Director, theatre specialist, innovator of epic productions, expert at directing in any language - Shakespeare & musicals in Japanese (Toyko, Nagoya, Kyoto) and Cantonese (Hong Kong), Prometheus in Greek (Epidaurus), Blood Brothers in Russian (Siberia) and HMS Pinafore in California.

Glen will be directing Willy Russell’s ‘Shirley Valentine’ starring Jodie Prenger in a major tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the play which Glen commissioned and directed at the Liverpool Everyman Theatre.  Adam Spiegel productions lists the present tour dates from March 6th – November 11th 2017.

Glen frequently leads workshops at the Actors Centre including her ever-popular ‘Confidence Tricks’ which will be aired again on October 31st 2016. 

In June 2016 Glen adapted and directed Shakespeare’s ‘As You Like It’ performed by East 15’s BA International students in the grounds of Hatfield House, Loughton, Essex.

Glen directed the premiere of ‘The Silver Gym’ written by and starring Nichola Mcauliffe which opened at the Queens Theatre, Hornchurch, Essex in April 2016 and played to large and enthusiastic audiences.

In 2015 Glen directted Blood Brothers' for Shochiku Company in Tokyo (Shimbashi Embujo) and Osaka (Shochiku-za) - both sell-outs starring Akito Kiriyama (Mickey) and Tomohiro Kamiyama.

She then directed a new production also for  Shochiku of  Oscar Wilde’s  'A Picture of Dorian Gray' for the New National Theatre in Shinjuku, Tokyo which opened  15th August followed by a tour playing in  Osaka, Fukuyama and Nagoya before performing again in Tokyo.
Yuma Nakayana starred as Dorian Gray and performances sold out.  
Glen is the Shakespeare Consultant for the film  ‘A Caribbean Dream’  - a Barbadian update of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.

   
Seoul, South Korea  

Directed a new production of ‘Blood Brothers’ for Shownote Company in Seoul, South Korea to perform at "Hongik Daehangno Art Centre" Seoul 27th June to 14th September 2014.
