Created new artistic policy for long-running accessible productions.
Glen wrote a new libretto for the opera Tosca and directed production with eighteen actor-musicians performing and playing Puccini's operatic score.
Shakespeare productions include - The Tempest, Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Taming Of The Shrew, Hamlet, Winter's Tale.
Commissioned and directed Shirley Valentine - Willy Russell (world premiere)

Founder and first Artistic Director of Secombe Centre, Sutton, Surrey. (1981-82).
Glen created policy, opened and directed first production for this purpose-built theatre.

Glen was founder and first Artistic Director of London Bubble Theatre (1972-1979).
Created policy and originated first two completely mobile structures designed for touring London's parks and open spaces with a repertoire of accessible classics and musicals. Steered company to independence forming own Board of Governors and constitution.

  Lettice and lovage flyer    Before, during and subsequent to long-term responsibility for running theatres, Glen's freelance career has included productions for commercial and subsidised theatre. Major regional productions in the UK include Sheffield Playhouse & Crucible, Edinburgh Traverse, Coventry Belgrade, Nottingham Playhouse, Worcester Swan, Leatherhead Thorndike, Cardiff Sherman, Liverpool Playhouse, Norwich Playhouse, Bristol Old Vic, Windsor Theatre Royal, Guidford Yvonne Arnaud, Hornchurch Queens.

London theatres include Royal Court, Bush, Tricycle, Greenwich, Hampstead.
